What is Mole Reading?
Mole reading is a form of form reading that interprets tendencies in personality, love, and financial fortune from the position of moles on the body. It is one of the traditions of reading fortune from bodily features that developed independently in China, India, and Europe, in both East and West.

Origins & History
The tradition of reading fortune from moles is said to have developed independently in Chinese form reading (face and body reading), Indian body reading, and European folk tradition. A distinctive feature of this practice is that, while all three traditions focus on the same bodily feature, the meanings attached to it differ by culture.
In China, a detailed system was passed down that classifies the auspicious or inauspicious meaning of moles by their position on the face and body, and in Europe as well, folk beliefs linking the position of facial and bodily moles to one’s destiny spread from the medieval period onward. The Chinese-derived way of thinking also reached Japan, where it continues to be enjoyed today as an everyday form of divination.
